Explanatory notes:
Weak northeast monsoon conditions until around the middle of the week with moderate northeast monsoon conditions.
On the 3rd day of Chinese New Year(Sunday) northerly steering flow occurred and weak northeast monsoon conditions,the formation of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening were suppressed with relatively dry low level air.
Higher chances of shower and thunderstorm development on Monday with more low level moisture,decreased chances again on Tuesday and Wednesday with drier low level air,increasing back from Thursday with moist and unstable air over the region.
