A somewhat westerly steering flow until Wednesday with the monsoon trough aloft slightly to the north.

Chances of rain increases late during the working week as the monsoon trough aloft moves south and the steering flow shifts to become from the northeast.

Late during the weekend prospects of raon depend on what tropical cyclone over Western Pacific does.If it lies near the Philiphines like the ECMWF suggests then relatively dry and stable air with dry air advection with north-northeasterly winds hence relatively dry.

But if the tropical cyclone lies further to the east like GFS suggests then wet.
