The monsoon trough lies within the vicinity of the region over the next few days as a result wet weather conditions,becoming cloudy by late on Sunday and over the east coast states a heavy rainfall episode is possible and a heavy rain warning has been issued by the Malaysian Meteorological Department.
From Tuesday monsoon trough moves slightly north with westerly steering flow possibly establishing over the region again.
