Explanatory notes:
The chances of rain over the forecast area is reduced this Saturday as the monsoon trough lies slightly to the north leading to westerly winds penetrating the 900 hPa-500 hPa level.

But still possible showers  and thunderstorms with sea and land breeze convergence during the day and night respectively.

Chances of rain increases back slightly from Sunsay with increased low level moisture.

Chances of rain increases further late during the work week as the monaoon trough moves south.
